in St. Petersburg in the early part of the last century, Dan grew up there
and graduated from Dixie Hollins High School.
Dan's musical interests are wide-ranging. In fact, he trained to be an
opera singer at USF. He also sings in other popular and classical vocal
ensembles and is known to howl at the moon when the right C&W tune starts up.
Dan's a traditionalist. Don't wait for synthesizer twirlies when Dan's
playing. It ain't gonna happen. To paraphrase "Blues Brothers",
he plays both keyboard sounds-- piano and organ.
Dan's brother Jeff drummed for the Dukes in the late 80s and 90s. In fact,
Dan came to the band after a two-year worldwide keyboardist
search ended when Jeff suddenly realized his brother played piano.
In his other life, Dan is a paralegal, so don't even think about suing
Dan and wife Charlotte live in Tampa along with their daughter.
