At the age of thirteen, Kyle made a fateful decision, choosing to spend his (almost) life savings on a drum set rather than a mini-bike. In fact he was at the mini-bike store, cash in hand, when he saw the light.
Since that day, the Chicago native has been supplying the pulse for all kinds of bands. Kyle honed his chops in the early 70s with horn-driven bands in the Chicago-Blood, Sweat, and Tears mold. He also likes the driving style of Gene Krupa and Buddy Rich.
One thing has remained constant, though-- he's had the same Rogers drum set since 1970! The Dukes' original drummer, Kyle's been on his second tour of duty since 1998. from the Dukes, Kyle works in airport operations and customer service. He's an avid racquetballer and cyclist. Offshore fishing is another of Kyle's interests--you can find him about 50 miles out in the Gulf aboard the Cabo on a good day.
Kyle has two sons, and is now a grandfather!
